Geridian was co-founded by director Chris Daffern in 2004 and has since built a formidable reputation as the "go-to" company for fast expert solutions in mechanical engineering design. With 40 years’ experience working around the world as a mechanical design engineer, Chris has led his team on a vast array of international projects primarily in oil and gas, steel production and bulk materials handling.
As a full-service consultancy company, our scope of supply includes site survey, conceptual design, detailed design, procurement of bought-out components, oversight of manufacture and commissioning.
Our office suite is located close to Sheffield in the heart of South Yorkshire where we have forged close links to manufacturing and technology resources.
We utilise the latest SolidWorks and AutoCad software to optimise and showcase our hi-spec designs. Our work is compliant with the relevant structural and mechanical design codes governed by DNV, ABS and Lloyds, as specified by our client.
